DINA BELENKAYA BIO:

Dina Belenkaya isn’t your typical Chess player—she’s part competitor, part entertainer, and fully aware that chess doesn’t have to be boring to be brilliant.

Her mother, a local children’s Chess coach, taught her Chess at just 3 years old, growing up in Russia where the game is practically a national language.

By her teens, she was already competing seriously, eventually earning the title of Woman International Master (WIM) and winning the Russian Women’s Championship (2019)—a legit achievement in one of the toughest chess countries on earth.

But what really sets Dina apart is what she did after proving she could play.

Instead of disappearing into the quiet grind of professional tournaments, she built a full-on Chess media brand. On platforms like YouTube, Twitch, and Instagram, she creates content that mixes high-level play with humor, personality, and a bit of chaos—think street chess, blitz battles, viral challenges, and collabs with creators like Hikaru Nakamura.

Her business is simple but smart: make Chess watchable. That means sponsorships, ad revenue, partnerships, and a growing audience that cares as much about her personality as her rating.

In a world where Chess used to be silent and serious, Dina Belenkaya turned it into something you actually want to click on—and that’s a different kind of checkmate.

And, as seen below, Dina also knows how to capitalize on her good look.
