Blindfold Chess.com - Chess Is War

For those who don’t know, there is a Blindfold Chess variant on Chess.com chess.com/variants/blindfold.

But here’s a list of “cons” as listed in a reddit post (with my comments on the side):

The player pool over there is very less and u got to wait to get paired. True! Getting a game is sometimes impossible.
Once the game begins, u cannot switch off the blindfold till game is over. You got to play till the end blindfold. A good thing, since you won’t be tempted to see what’s going on.
No analysis post game. Well, you can probably get your png of your games somewhere on Chess.com.
It should be only for those elite GM or IM who can manage to play entire game blindfolded. It’s flattering but nope, you can “see” what’s going on by clicking on the empty Chessboard with your mouse. Real Blindfold Chess can be played on https://dontmoveuntilyousee.it/blindfold-trainer/. No Chessboard, nothing. But you play against the computer.
My personal revendication. Why is our Chess.com Blindfold rating and game history is nowhere to be found on our profiles? Is it because the variant isn’t popular?

If you are really into Blindfold Chess. Just like I did, you can ask Chess.com support to have a second account. Your second account has to be officially authorized by a Chess.com email. Then, when you get your second authorized account, you just change your Chessboard setting. Put the Pieces Style on Blindfold and put the Coordinates off to not see everything except an empy board.

As you can see (pun intended as always) with my low rating, facing a opponent who see everything while you play Blindfold is on a whole other level than playing another player who’s blindfold too.
