👆 The Chess player in the above video has a Lichess Rapid rating of ~2050 which put you in the top 5% of active players on the platform (95% percentile). This coincides with his rating of 1850-1900 on Chess.com that gave him a percentile of 0.6% (percentile 99.4%) .
The percentile of Chess.com includes all the inactive players in the last 90 days.
While the percentile of Lichess.org only considers the active players within a week. Which is more accurate and realistic.
As you can see with the live example in the video, the Chess Dojo chart below is accurate too.👇
That’s one of the reasons why I only play Classical on Lichess.
- It’s the only place where there is an official Classical format.
- Their percentiles are accurate and realistic.
But damn that I miss Chess.com game analysis.
